Pots
Pots are for managing multiple expenses between the same people over time - great for shared houses or a group holidays. ​

Add a Pot name, participants from friends list or search PayPots users, choose a photo to head your pot and you're ready to go!
Participants of the pot can then add expenses and PayPots will do the maths and track who-owes-who.
Everyone can then settle up instantly, without having to exchange bank information.​

Other features within pots include Recurring Expenses - Perfect for group houses with recurring monthly expenses ie rent and bills. Simply add who is in the expense, what its for and when its due!

Powered by Open Banking
Sending money with PayPots is safe and secure as we use ‘Open Banking’ when transferring money. Open banking payments are easy, instant and secure directly from. your existing bank account to the recipients bank account.
When making a payment in app, PayPots will temporarily take you to our partner Tink to confirm the payment details before taking you to your mobile banking app to approve the payment.
Once you have approved the payment you will be automatically redirected to back to the PayPots app.​

Question:
What is the difference between a "Standard" and "Unlimited" user?
Answer:
When anyone creates their PayPots account, they will be given 5 free transactions to get started with. If a "Standard" user needs additional transactions, they can purchase additional transactions to "top-up" their account.
If you are an "Unlimited" user then you will have access to unlimited transactions, without having to "top-up", all for a set monthly fee of £1.99.

What is my PayPots code? / What is my Paypots code for?
Answer:
Your PayPots code is a unique 6-digit code which can be used instead of someone's username for things like, adding someone as a friend or requesting and sending money. It ultimately helps you validate you are sending money to the intended recipient.

Can I request money from someone if they don't have the app?
Answer:
Yes, you can request money from anyone even if they don't have the app. You can do this by using your QR code or PayMe.Link, sending them a single request or even adding them to a Pot.

How do I make my account private?
Answer:
We understand that you may not want anyone and everyone to be able to request and send money to you so within the "Edit Profile" section of the Profile Page you are able to make your account private which will mean although people will be able to search you, only your friends will be able to request or send money with you.
Question:
Do I need to link my bank account?
Answer:
No, you can pay requests that have been sent to you without having to link your bank. If you want to send requests of your own then you will need to link your bank so you can be paid securely, directly into your account.
